Laura Fryer founded Blue Hominy Public Relations in 2014. The firm specializes in food and drink, including restaurants, breweries, wine shops, and individual food products. Please see here for a list of current clients. 

Previously, Laura served as Account Executive at Michelle Lehmann Communications, a boutique food and lifestyle PR firm in NYC who represented Counter Culture Coffee,  Dean & Deluca, il Buco, sweetgreen, Edible Schoolyard NYC, BluePrintCleanse,, hotelier Ian Schrager, and many more. 

Also in New York, Laura served as a Consultant with FTI Consulting, a global business advisory firm. As part of their Financial and Enterprise Data Analytics team, Laura provided litigation support benefitting victims of the Bernie Madoff scheme, the largest financial fraud in American history. 

Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where she majored in Economics and minored in History. During college, she studied abroad at the London School of Economics, where she focused on financial theories of international markets. During the summers, she interned at The New York Times, and two Atlanta-based firms: Cookerly Public Relations and EOS Marketing. Born and raised in Atlanta, Laura lives near midtown with her husband Gibbs and cockapoo Percy.
